For those who have not seen this before, this is an incredible model of the P51D Mustang built by David Glen over a period of 10 years and then donated to the Royal Air Force museum to honor all US pilots and crews who gave their lives in support of their British and European allies over two World Wars. I used to be a modeler and can appreciate the amount of time and effort that went into making this model. I spent several hundred hours building award winning models as a young adult but this one was 10 years in the making! Enjoy.

Now that P51 build is full from top to bottom with over the top detail. Makes my restoration work look simple.

Forgive my lack of knowledge, but it is a stationary model display?

Yes. Nothing that cannot be seen was modeled so only the cockpit and externals were detailed. It is housed in a large static display housed in a Plexiglas box in a museum.
