Nova BB Power steering hose routing

Does anyone know the proper routing for the power steering hoses in a 69 big block Nova? I have them going under the engine, by the oil pan, and below the motor mount stand. Not sure if this is correct. It seems to stretch the hose a bit. Photos are always welcomed. Thanks BR

Bill, I would think it would be the same as a 69 Camaro? Almost positive that it is. Sounds like what you describe is the right routing. On a factory setup (Camaro anyways), there is a hose loom that goes under the engine frame stand attached by the lower bolt that holds both hoses against the frame and directly below that left frame stand.

I am interested also as I do not know if I have them right on my BB Nova. Does anyone have good images? Thanks ... TAZ

You will need the clip that attaches to the lower motor mount bolt to keep them in place.

69 SB Camaro, and 69 BB Camaro are not the same. I'm pretty sure Nova and Camaro are the same, but not absolutely sure. I am sure that on the Camaro, SB, the return hose connects into the back of the reservoir, but on the BB, it connects into the side of the reservoir. That's a 69 model year, only. Not sure if late 69 Camaro started using the new more tear drop shaped reservoir, or if the round reservoir was used for the extended model year.
