My buddy stopped by with his caprice yesterday. I snapped a few pics as the car has a few things I’ve never personally seen before. Car is original drivetrain # matching w/protecto-plate. Has had a spray bomb and a few minor changes in the engine compartment , but overall it’s a real nice family cruiser ! Options include 427-385 hp, AC, PW, power locks, power seat, hideaways, fiber optics, rear defog, in dash tach, tilt, maybe a few more. And everything works !! Car looks like a two door at first glance because no post. Thought some folks here would enjoy.

I'm not an "Extra Doors" Guy, but that is COOL! I had a White / Blue 1969 SS-427 holiday Coupe I pulled out of Colorado back in 1996 that was a cloth Strato-Bench seat Loaded car like this, it even had Comfortron A/C. I never knew they made a bench seat SS-427, but it had all the paperwork when I bought it including the protect-o-plate as well. There couldn't have been many of those made as well as this pillarless 4-Door.. Sold it to a family in Central Michigan who collected only 1969 427 Chevrolet Impalas and Caprice's. I think the Son who came to get my car said they had a total of (8) including (2) wagons. Bill
