There is no way to know if a '70 Nova Coupe is an SS from the cowl tag or VIN information. You'll need the VIN to even tell if it was a V/8, because the cowl
tags on Novas of this era were stamped...

Yes, Acadians never went beyond the SS350. No big blocks. Even though there were over 1200 L79 Novas built in 1968, Acadians never got in on that, either.

I don't think Hugger Orange was a factory color for the 1969 Nova. Maybe a special order? Hugger Orange (Code 65) was a late addition for the 1970 Nova along with Citrus Green and Sunflower Yellow....
