If you envision the history of planet Earth in a 24 hour time period . . . at 12 midnight the Earth has finally formed from rocks and dust 4.5 billion years ago. Dinosaurs appear at 11:40 PM and humans appear at 11:59 and 56 seconds PM . . . . 4 seconds before the 24 hours are up.
