Default 1970 CRV 12 bolt posi LS5 LS6 chevelle

Original, unmolested CRV 12 bolt 3.31 posi. I just pulled this from an estate where it had sat on a rack for over 40 years. Guaranteed to not be a restamp. This particular one came from a 70 monte carlo SS with the LS5 engine. You may notice the plates that go on the back of the lower control arm brackets and the extensions for the rubber bumpers that are unique to air shock equipped cars and can be removed for non air shock cars. The Chevelle and Monte Carlo used the same coded axles and the CRV code is specific to 454 cars with 3.31 posi traction. The 454 cars had a larger pinion yoke than 396 cars. The only condition issues are that one of the shock mounts was cut when it was removed back in the day (a 15 minute fix for any competent welder/fabricator) and it is missing one brake drum. Still has it's original "9210" yoke, original gears, original posi, axles, backing plates, upper control arms, brake cables are in good shape. I'm located in Hays, KS and would consider shipping but I'm guessing it would cost $400-500 to go to one of the coasts.
$3,500
