Maybe a 4 door "towing package" version of this would be an option for guys spending 70 to 80K on a new Silverado Duramax

Pretty cool truck, love the hounds-tooth interior, but I'd rather have an extended cab even if it was just with jump seats in the back.

----No way a half ton Silverado weighs that much,,,NO WAY! I doubt it weighs 5000lbs. Also agree with Charley about the price. Really neat ride though.....Bill S

For scary comparisons Shelby super snake had 800 horsepower in a 2,200 pound chassis. Can you imagine how scary that was. 800 horsepower in a 5,000 pound truck... a walk in the park

Agree
Especially with an aluminum hood, doors, and tailgate.

Maybe they upgraded the rear from the 8.6" diff and have something like a 9.5, 10.5 or 11.5 out of the heavier trucks. That would add some weight, but deliver much better reliability.
