Not much left of the pace car , from behind the rad cradle forward was torched off. 305 4bbl auto. drum brakes on the rear.
we may take it, the guy wants next to nothing for it.

we saw it a few weeks ago but did not go over to the car until last weekend , we opened the door thought holy cow.

65 396 coupes are my favorite Vettes. Shame this one looks the way it does.

It's not for sale currently, don't know about in the future.. The owner is a really nice guy, has no reason to let it go at this point. I didn't find out why he stopped driving it, but it's been off the road since about 79. I might get some engine shots tomorrow before I leave. Dig that hood stripe!

Okay so the guy won't sell the car to you; do you think you could convince him to wash it and clean all that crap out from the interior and in the engine compartment? It is painful seeing cars treated like that; such a waste.
