----There were two Monaco Orange COPOs brought from Canada to Cape Cod many years ago along with a fathom green COPO Camaro. Same guy bought all three. I have no way of knowing if this car is one of the two, but both of those two cars were re-bodied. I know this for a fact, weather or not that cape codder will admit it or not. I know who did the paint jobs and was there the day he bought one of the two donor cars at Carlisle......Bill S

Are you talking about Harry Snow who brought those two MO orange COPO's to the show back then?...One Auto, one M/T.
He had them at the NCOA back in Georgia in 1994/95 too. Bill,do you mean Frost Green? |

I hear ya,as I'm not saying Harry did it,only that he brought them to Atlanta that year & later on to the Schaumburg NCOA convention here in '97/98.Beautiful restorations on both.I'd be stunned if one of those cars is the same being discussed here.Judged very high on the scale,I have their point totals somewhere.
Harry does/did Live in New Hampshire,so most likely was before he took ownership I would've imagined.Really nice guy with some great taste. If it was a Frost Green colored COPO Camaro, sounds like the one Don Wattie sold to Fred Nolan here.It too is Canadian documented with zero options.Never heard about it being a re-body though as this was back @ Fred house back in the late 1990's. |
