Default Anti Dieseling Solenoid switch bracket

A friend of mine is looking for a anti dieseling switch bracket for a 1969 L78, L72 and L89 engine with automatic trans. Some people refer to it as an idle stop solenoid also. He is needing it for a Yenko Chevelle. It is illustrated in the 69 Chevelle assembly manual on I think page 442. I used the only one I had on my COPO Chevelle and I know they aren't easy to come by but I thought I would start here. Please message me here or call 217-620-3405

Thanks for the encouragement. I have one for my Copo Chevelle but I sold a friend an automatic Yenko Chevelle 20 plus years ago and we are looking for one for it.

I think those have been sold out for a few years now. I tried getting them re-reproduced, but the gent that made them is no longer in business. Haven't given up on it yet, but another shop I tried said it would be too expensive to make a small qty.

Thanks for the help Mark. One of the challenges here is getting an original to borrow long enough to reproduce. I have one on my COPO Chevelle but it is also a reproduction from many years ago when my buddy had them reproduced (I wish I had purchased 10 back then instead of just one). I hate try to reproduce from a reproduction and that means pulling it from my car also. We may have to end up going that route though. If you could send me the contact info for the person named above I would appreciate it. You can private message if you prefer. Thanks again
