Default Survivor '67 GTO 400HO Convertible

I'm curious to hear your thoughts on whether this one is worth the $75k asking price. I have a similar car, but with a black interior and 3-speed manual. Pretty cool if this is in fact the original paint.

Engine Unit Number on the PHS docs don't match the picture. I think the hood tach story is BS, car has in-dash tach (no clock ordered). Car looks to be undercoated as it has the big plug in the door by the GM sticker. That can go either way...

It is a nice car...

I didn’t even think to match up the EUN. That is a pretty significant detail!

Those Rally IIs look too big (15"?). Seller doesn't seem as knowledgeable as I'd hope. Proceed with some caution..

Picture of the engine number - which WAS there yesterday - is no longer there. Location says Chicago, IL......those pics don't look like anywhere in the Chicago area that I'm familiar with.

Maybe I'm not awake yet but the unit # on the phs for the engine is 164001 and the stamp on the block is 164001.

Relisted with more info and more pics...this really looks like a nice car. Apparently won 'best survivor' at the '03 GTO Nats.
