Default Traction Master Company Vintage Decals - Wanted

I am looking for a set of vintage "Traction Master Company" decals that were installed on my vintage Traction Master traction bars. Has anyone seen these decals?

-Dave

That sticker is much different than the ones I had on an NOS set a few years back. Unfortunately, I don't have a photo but it was a gold-foil starburst design.

My box and newspaper are dated 68....I even have the instructions. For 1968, this is the real deal. Wonder what years the one you mention were used? Interesting stuff...

I attempted to load my picture above but it did not load. Can either one of you PM me so I an send you my picture to post? Perhaps you can post the picture and further discussion can continue.

On a different note my picture is of a "gold - foil starburst" design. This picture was apparently from a set of 1969 vintage Traction Master bars. Perhaps there were different decals for different years???

Steve,

Awesome looking original 68 Traction Master Bars. I noticed that the decal on yours is not a "StarBurst" design like mine nor is the mounting the same. This would support that mine are a 69 vintage.

Could be...I haven't seen many other documented NOS sets, although I have seen some. I would have thought 69 to be similar, (without it being 1969 yet) it's obvious why these only say 68.

I've been looking for the Gold & Blue Seal-Ribbon which is a foil over paper sticker (as mentioned above). I had contacted TM a while ago with no answer. From some bars that I've seen for sale, it appears the foil "Seal of Performance" is the earlier (early to late '60s?). I've seen a set of bolt-on at the rear spring plate (3-point) with the foil seal vs. a weld-on set that had the yellow & blue sticker. The Weld-on set was a '67+ application. There does appear to be some overlap which makes it confusing. Would like to get one foil sticker (they only put it on one bar). Some of their ads/decals say "with Gold Seal".
