Easier to hit Paul up through Facebook. I sent him a quick msg there with a link to this thread. He should chime in and usually responds through Facebook pretty quick. Graeme He already responded and said he'd head over here in a bit.

Thanks for thinking of me guys. I'll try to post a pic of the 69 Camaro tabs I have left over from last year. I think there are like 3 or 4.
Those silver ones on ebay were pretty nice. Not too neat up, but imperfect enough to give a hint to their history and use. I'm bias towards any original sets which aren't all bent up. The 69 Camaro ones are pretty hard to find. I think the ratio is like 20:1 for 67/68 Camaro tabs to the ones for a 69. I've never had a need to do a run of tabs for th 67/68 cars. They are not that different from the 69, so I have made a set here and there for people wanting clean, smooth steel. With just a little patience, the 67/68 tabs turn up kinda frequently. Every set of tabs tell a story. Some speak to me more than others. I've personally spent more for a single pair of tabs, than this auction brought. Glad to see there are others who enjoy them like I do. I also want to thank you for your kind words. The tabs was something my dad and I started doing and we still enjoy it and enjoy hearing your feedback. |
