Jer, Your saying that the SPI Single Stage Black is NOT too Glossy.

Interested to know if youve used the SPI SS Black on other Restoration
METAL Sheetmetal Areas...........

Have you used a Flattening agent mixed with SPI SS Black ....to retard
some of the gloss............

Yes, I use mostly SPI SS black now. I do use a flattening agent and have landed on PPG's commercial line DX10. It's less than 100$ a gal. and one of my jobbers will sell qts, the other don't.....not sure why. I'm restoring a '66 vette now and have used SPI's black on all chassis components and will continue on interior parts.
