Default easy Camaro paint question

A base model 68 Camaro (ME code 327/powerglide) would not have been available with any stripes would it? I am pretty sure it should have been one color (LL Teal Blue).

I would like to see a picture of a 68 in Teal Blue with a 717 standard blue interior if anyone here has or had one. Thanks

Tommy

Depends on the build date as to which stripe it could have gotten. But to answer your question. Yes stripe was an option.

D90.... Otherwise known as “The” most butchered stripe ever. You see 500 wrong ones before 1 right.

My Mom bought a new '68 Camaro off the lot. Ermine white with black vinyl top, black D91 stripe, and Ivy Gold interior (interior color was not her first choice, but it was one of the few remaining '68s on the lot and she didn't care for the '69 styling).

This was just a 250 ci Powerglide car (non-RS), so, yes - you could order stripes on a base model.

EDIT: From what I recall in the pictures, the car DID have "250" numbers on the fender breaking up the stripe, as the 250 was the optional "big" I6 engine.
