Default Musclepalooza Englishtown 2009

I took a lseisurely dirve down to E-Town this afternnon for the racing time trials for the Musclepalloza event that takes place tomorrow. Not too many show cars but the F.A.S.T cars were amazing. I took a few photos while trying to avoid getting run over in the pits.

A neat 69 Charger 500 Hemi in the stock glass. It ran a 14 second quarter if I recall correctly.

1969 Road Runner A12 440 Six Barrel from the FAST class.

Beatiful 68 Firebird. Didnt see it run.

Amazing 68 RAII Firebird. It ran a 10.70. Check out the painted roll cage. The guys have to run them now, since they are turning 10s in the 1/4.

1971 429 Cobrajet Mustang. Ran a 10.90

1969 Hemi Roadrunner. Ran a 10.547 - beating the L88 Vette which ran a 10.549 in time trials.

Beautiful 1970 Z/28

Neat old Marlin nostalgia car...leaking gas in the sun due to the angle of the body.

Wild old T-bird. Sounded real healthy...and then he opened the hood...

Good to see you there Steve. I can't believe that RR ran 10s with those bias plys! Just doesn't LOOK like a 10sec car.

Lots of neat show cars today. Some site members cars too.

Bill Rose's El Camino (which got an award from Hemmings)

Neat original owner 68 L78

Super Duty Pontiac

Same old Charger. At least I got to use up 20 gallons of the old fuel I drained out of the Viper and put in the Charger. I thought it would get me to and from the event on Sat and Sunday but I ended up having to fill up as I left the track on Sunday. It was about 130 miles total...and needed 13 gallons. So, at least I know it gets an even 10 mpg highway.

Talk about surviviors! A '74 SD455 four speed. The guy just drove it out to Ohio from NJ for the Pontaic Nats.

Classic 70's custom Camaro. Interesting body blend of the grill surround into the nose section.

1969 Cobrajet 428 Cougar. Beautiful!
