Default Dealing with a yenko member deadbeat buyer

Had a deal to sell a fellow member a set of Nova bumper guards. He changed his mind twice on buying them but the third time changed his mind again and promised for sure that he wanted them and would send me a money order 10 days ago. After not receiving payment I sent him an email asking if he sent it."Sorry Bill changed my mind" was his response! Why jerk me around? Why not have the decency and balls to send me an email and explain to me that he spent too much on his first set of bumper guards and couldn't afford to buy mine.I've dealt with deadbeat before buyers but this is the first time it's been another site member. My reply email to him wasn't very pleasant. If you would like to know who the deadbeat is,because you might not want to waste your time dealing with him, just PM me.Hope admin doesn't cancel this thread.Bill.

Why not just post who it is and call them out. Have some balls.. I'm curious to know although I don't sell on this forum any more.

Seriously though sometimes its just easier to sell at a swap meet where you don't have to worry about this kind of bullshit, returns or warranty.. Plus the buyer can see the part in person and decide then and there if they want it.

Before anyone gets butthurt I am just joking around about the balls comment..

Man, lots of balls and butts being tossed around. I also would like to know who it is. No PM necessary as far as I'm concerned. They made their bed......

Could not agree more. Unfortunately, in my area of the country swap meets are far and few between. I have a couple trailer loads of parts I need to move but nothing close to bring them to and I do NOT have the time it takes to sell them on line. I had to put up another building nearby to house the stuff so for now they just collect dust.

Rick, I'll just come up there and get all those dirty & nasty parts out of your way.. No sense in them being in your way..

I just vended at a swap meet this past weekend. Had some nice NOS Olds and Camaro stuff. None of the good stuff sold, signs books and the $20 parts sold.
I have had sucess in buying through this site as well as some good sales.
Either call the buyer out or report him to Steve Shauger and put him on "double secret probation".

Based on your post I understand your frustration, and if it was me, I'd move on to another buyer.

The best way to resolve any member issue that you've tried resolve between yourselves, but are now at an impasse is to notify a moderator.

I will contact the other member......

put rules on you for sale ad...be firm and precise..and give no one the benefit anymore...youll be happier..

i know this is a friendly forum..but everyone needs structure and needs to know what to expect...everyone..
