Default Looking for Dealer info

Anyone have info on dealer zone 20 code 183 for the 1969 era. It became Delillo Chevrolet later on in the late 80's early 90's but need who had it before.

Thanks,
Paul

As you probably know, Groth Chevrolet @ the same 18211 Beach Blvd. Huntington address as Zone 20/Dealer 185 from the early 60's to 1981.
The same 20/185 Dealer # also location was listed as Cormier-Delillo for 1982 and most likely associated w/ Cormier Long Beach?
So, the 183 Dealer # Delillo ended up w/ may have a previous Cormier connection?

Yep, looked in all those directions. Thought maybe Cormier had a second location in Huntington Beach area that may have turned into Cormier-Delillo. You are getting very good at this .

Yep ,My 70 Z/28 was sold new there. Same location, Not a very big dealership. Even though the Show room & main building have been updated & look like every other modern Chevy dealer. If you go around the back to the Parts Dept & Service bays ,its looks relatively unchanged, which is cool to see. Being its a big beach town I've always wondered if they sold a lot of Muscle back in the day ???

The below statement from Delillo's Bill Demarest indicates he came from Cormier so may have the info you're seeking?
Here's his email address...

"Where do I start? I have worked for the same owners for fifty-four years. I worked for Cormier Chevrolet for seventeen years until Mr. Cormier sent me to DeLillo in 1981. I have been here for thirty-six years formerly as general manager and I currently run the marketing and customer relations department. I am always learning about digital advertising and never want to stop. I am married to a wonderful woman and have two daughters as well as four grandkids and two great-grandkids. I enjoy coming to work every day and trying to better our business. I have met so many wonderful people at DeLillo; working here is immeasurably gratifying. I live in Newport Beach and hanging out with my wife in the sun and sand is my favorite pastime"

Default Dealer

I spoke to Bill about 1/2 ago and Cormier only had the one location in Long Beach until they moved over to Cormier Delillo and that dealer we know is 185. Also looked at Ted Green who was 182 and later changed to Martin who was dealer 304 so NG there either..
