There’s a previous thread about this car from 2015 with subject “69 camaro Yenko #194”, but I’m sorry I don’t know how to post a link to that old thread. There’s also an even older thread from 2005, but it sounds like the 2005 thread may have been confusing this car with 9N664141. In any case, from the 2015 thread it sounds like this car is believed to truly be a 4-speed, even though the VIN list table within the Yenko section of this site still (incorrectly?) shows this as a Turbo.

Pretty big swing in prices from a 10 year spread.

Well, it was there and reported as sold.

Appears R-S has pulled results from the site.

I don’t think it was pulled from the Russo 2015 AZ auction, I just think it didn’t meet the reserve (or maybe it sold but then the deal unwound for some reason). Unlike most of the other auction companies Russo only lists the cars that actually Sold on their Results page. It’s kind of awkward, but in general by comparing their Cataliog with their Results you can figure out which cars didn’t sell.

Oh, and PS, it was the same consignor who first brought it to Russo 2015, but then later also brought/sold it at Worldwide.

R&S really needs to get on the ball with how they report their auction results.
It's not like they need to re-invent sliced bread here.

It did NOT sell at R&S last time out/2015, prior to WW auction and when it sold back in 2006 @ R&S those were peak times price wise for many Muscle car sales within that window plus or minus a year or so. The Yenko is a 4 speed, based on factory paperwork and history.

Have you seen the factory paperwork Stefano? I'd like to have a copy for the registry if possible.

The GM paperwork I have for this Yenko is a Copy of the MSO, which has shipping weight as well as a copy the "Delivery Schedule" from GMAC along with the invoiced / floor plan credit.

The sheet includes a Yenko Chevelle and deliveries to another Yenko Network dealer to include Chevelles and a Camaro.

These copies were provided to one of the previous owners by Yenko Performance & Marine from 1983.

Ok, I must be slow. I don't believe that any of those documents specify the transmission type? Or has somebody figured it out from the shipping weight given on the MSO?

Would the invoice price not be on the floor plan sheet? The TH400 was about $100 more expensive than the M21.
Since yenkos were ordered with certain equipment couldn't the trans be deduced from the total invoice?

There were no 9561 AA VS 9561 BA designations were there?

AA designates 4-speed COPOs; BA automatics
