He is also a great tuner. He has a distributor mcahine and set up the curves on both my HEI's for my Gramma's Firebird and the Black 455HO. Really improved the performance.

Yes, there were a few of us GP guys that saw the original ad in Hemmings back when it surfaced, but we all knew that it wasn't real because Pontiac didn't offer the HO/manual trans combo with a/c....

Grant can speak to this but it is my understanding only 1 HO 4spd with a/c slipped thru that year. I think the car is or was in Texas.
