I've used VR1 10w30 and Lucas Hot Rod 10w30. I know a lot of folks run Shell Rotella T 15w40 diesel oil too. VR1 is usually the cheapest and we all know it's good so that's what I use most.

The block has been decked & restamped. The transmission VIN stamp looks ok, the deck VIN stamp should match that as they were done using the same gang stamp.
