Have you verified that's a good stamp? EG doesn't look like it falls in line with the stamped digits before it. It looks like there's a ghost stamp under it too.

Do you have an ammeter gauge? I have the console gauges with ammeter. It matters... I believe the orange itself is a fusible link. My factory harness has one that loops right by the regulator...
