The gun case in the photo is a Gun Guard...very well made product.

Rick is on the money regarding the brake lines...my 2004 Suburban has had most of them replaced. :tongue: The lines that run over the frame near the gas tank are always an issue. Make sure you check...

Did a little cleanup work in the garage today so I had to move the 68 car outside. Since it wasn't raining and the roads were clean...did a tour around the neighborhood. :3gears:

Rear End Codes...

If you look at Colvin's book, there were more choices with the Camaro. The BT rear was a common item for these cars....pretty much all the codes were the same.

The casting numbers were the same...and as far as I know, all the mechanical features were the same. Pretty sure they are interchangeable.

While you may get away with a cam/lifter swap...a prudent approach would be to check all the internals for any possible issues. Pulling an engine isn't fun, but it is cheap insurance in the long run....
