Re: 37 Ford LS2 Continuation thread
First off.............The "Tangle" of wires is disappearing.........
http://i13.photobucket.com/albums/a2...t/DSC01147.jpg And I have all the outside A.C. and heater lines crimped and assembled.......the break in the two smaller lines in the pic is where the Filter/Drier goes......... http://i13.photobucket.com/albums/a2...t/DSC01145.jpg Also got the gas tank vent put in.......I positioned it high in the wheel well opening where it will be covered by the fender and high enough to do the job.....It has a small slotted screened area that is facing away from where the tire would throw stuff that is where the vent opening is http://i13.photobucket.com/albums/a2...t/DSC01148.jpg http://i13.photobucket.com/albums/a2...t/DSC01149.jpg As I was digging around looking for some parts today I came across the coil covers and just for the heck of it I put them on....I didn't think they would fit, and they dropped right on......... http://i13.photobucket.com/albums/a2...t/DSC01151.jpg Now............At this point Dave said "Let's see if it will start"..........Hit the key and it started Imediately.....Wow!!.......I didn't have much faith in the engines starting with the complexity of the wiring and everything else.....Just go's to show that Dave and the GM Engineers know what they are doing......Even the drive by wire gas pedal worked https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...iggthumpup.gif Ken (with a smile on my face) |

Re: 37 Ford LS2 Continuation thread
In addition to making a bunch of parts and gaskets to clean up and seal the installation of the windshield wipers (install and pic's tomorrow) I got the air intake pretty much finalized, after I get the front sheetmetal installed I will be making a cold air box to draw outside air in thru the Hood sides.........Lot's of misc parts coming in this week to finish everything up.........
