Anyone have info on the different hole sizes in the steering column cup for the Sun tach? I have a holder with a 1/4" hole in it. I have a SST-90 and a SST-802-2 neither of which use the smallish hole. What would this holder be used on? And can anyone use it or possibly have one with the 1/2" hole to trade? Thnks guys.

That bracket was used on the earlier “pinch” cup.

Here are some original old school original early 1970 gauges on a 1970 3540 mile LS6 I am detailing. This and everything else on the car will remain the same other than the tires. Note also the old school gas pedal and Hurst shifter.

My Merc flathead powered highboy roadster...

----When I 1st got Red Alert I found that Bob Hamilton had mounted a fuel pressure guage to the hood with screws in the black stripe. Thought about it for a bit and decided it had to go and filled the holes in and spotted the paint. Then I took a piece of flat stock and bent it to mount on the cowl under the hood. It went towards the windshield and then wrapped around the hood. Guage was mounted on top and everything cleared. It's still that way today!....Bill S

My 'ol Red Hot-Rod, including the transmitter still attached to the holes I drilled in November 1967.
I've never seen another Sun tach with this style face, IIRC it was related to a movie titled "REDLINE 7000"??
Back then the 2nd design L88 easily buzzed into that 7K red zone. :3gears:
