That is my favorite Nova of all time!

Re: 1969 Rallye Green Z28
I can't afford the asking price i was told $600k-$650k. I don't think it will bring that kind of money after the Yenko Nova speculation that's gone on with some of the others out there as you stated. That one is the REAL DEAL though. I would do whatever i had to, almost, to get it back at $300k though. No disrespect meant to the owners of the verifyable ones. The Gold Yenko Camaro is in the paint booth now, motor and chassis are done. It should be completed early next year. Hassett's Monaco Orange Chevelle just won "Best of Show" and Chuck is doing the Gold Camaro as well. He just finished the Ram Air IV TA.

Re: 1969 Rallye Green Z28
Hey Kevin
What was the Yenko Camaro's selling for back then, when you sold it? If Yenko Camaro's are selling for $325-400K, whats the % difference to a Yenko Nova.. If I remember right, they were selling for $175K+. Its pretty wild how the Yenko Camaro's are holding their prices for quite awhile and the Hemi Cuda got out of hand. Real hard car to move lately. Check out the prices of L88's !! To me the Yenko Nova 427 are the Holly Grail's of the Chevy's.. Just my 5 cents !! https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...ins/3gears.gif https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...mlins/flag.gif I know that Gold Yenko wont be cheap ! https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...ns/worship.gif |
Re: 1969 Rallye Green Z28
You need to be able to prove it is a 427 other than people saying it was.

Re: 1969 Rallye Green Z28
The black 67 Yenko Camaro sold at Mecum May 2008 for $480K, according to their web site.

Re: 1969 Rallye Green Z28
The 67 Yenko Camaro sold light in my eye's and the buyer got a GREAT DEAL..
Im told their is paperwok if someone wants to step up and pay,the owner doesnt need to pay cause he knows its a real converted car. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...ins/3gears.gif |
Re: 1969 Rallye Green Z28
Marlin would probably have more info on this but my understanding is there is nothing from Yenko saying 427 on most of the Nova's. I think they deduce 427 based on some engine credit on paperwork. That is different than having a shipper copy on a copo where the work was done at Chevrolet or a Yenko window sticker that states 427.

Re: 1969 Rallye Green Z28
I have been told Vince has given his blessing and Vince has said it to be one of finest..
I guess there is a new authority to Yenko Nova 427's out there ?? https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...s/confused.gif |
Re: 1969 Rallye Green Z28
Nobody really knows what paperwork exists on the '69 Novas, as Vince has most of it, but what he has seems to be "right on", as per 369/427.
We may not like his methods, or price, butas far as i konw, Vince has never missed when stating what was a 427 car and what was not, either Nova, Camaro or Chevelle. |
