The car was raced and the Holley and exhaust manifolds were changed as was common to make these L79's optimal. The original single inlet Holley is with the car but not the manifolds. The shifter was also changed but have it too. I did read somewhere that headers could be ordered with this RPO and come in the trunk....anyone?

That is a great car! I have a L-79 in my 67 Vette and it just a great driving, fast piece. You will enjoy that motor.

This is just a neat car and I am a big fan of the L-79 327, what a great find. I am starting to think that Cragers were the standard wheel from the factory on 66-67 Chevelles. Just about every great Chevelle I have ever seen has them.
