LA cars usually have stripe color over spray on the firewall if you scrape some of that black paint off there should be stripe color on the cowl top and down the firewall, obviously if the stripes were black it is more difficult to discern.

The LA cars I have seen also have the color in numerical code vs color written, I assume this is because they built different car lines in LA and some colors were coded the same yet carried different names?

That is the easy way to determine the 1st gen "real" Z28's / Z-11/10 cars as long as no one has removed (stripped / sand blasted) the paint off the top of the cowl

as shown in the above pics, Van Nuys painted the entire upper cowl in strip color

In 1969 both the Z/28 &amp; the SS350 shared the same engine frame mounts...left side #3945507 right side #3945508. Original stampings should be on them unless they were changed at some point.

1969 350 Camaros not just SS used the same motor mounts.
