I put this graphic together after a recent visit to Wisconsin to see 3 Savage survivors. The backdrop is one of the original shop locations where the cars were built in West Bend, Wisconsin.

Here's a breakdown of the known survivors:

#1 - 340/4-speed, R6 (Scorch Red), built C09 (Dec. 9, 1968)

#2 - 383/Auto, T5 (Bronze Fire Metallic), built 108 (Jan. 8, 1969)

#3 - 340/4-speed, F8 (Ivy Green Metallic), built 115 (Jan. 15, 1969)

#4 - 440/4-speed (orig. 340/4-speed), was repainted black in the 80's, orig. color unknown at this time, (no fender tag info)

#5 - 340/Auto, R6 (Scorch Red), built 109 (Jan. 9, 1969)

#6 - 340/Auto, B5 (Blue Fire), built 109 (Jan. 9, 1969)

Yes, this is my Savage I've owned since 2006. I have tracked down the original owner who bought it late spring of 1969, then moved to South Dakota in 1972 and traded it in to a musclecar dealer there. It was repainted silver and sold. It was turned into a drag car in the 70's. Some of the original fiberglass parts went missing and I have been looking for the original parts to return to the car. I purchased another Savage that is pretty rough but has all the fiberglass parts I need so am in the process of restoring the parts and putting back on my car. I will leave my car in it's drag configuration. Here's the original ad I found when the dealer had it for sale in 1972.
