A buddy of mine has an LS-6 and says he would rather have a CE, because a correct over the counter warranty block would be CE..and a 71 CRR probaqbly is from something other than a chevelle.

The engine is dated 5/22/1970

Yes, that is the engine. I didn't realize the owner as going to post it for sale.

Ls6

Can it be shipped?

Stefano 09-23-2017 02:34 AM

I see what the owner posted but shipping will not be an issue. We ship engines on a regular basis although the LS engine are a bit lighter : )

Not really a statistical study, but for every Warranty replacement CRR or other such engine produced to full fill warranty during the model run like DZs and/or JDs, or even MNs I have seen multiple CE equivalents. But that is just my limited experience over the past decades ?

The owner decided not to sell the engine.

Don't you love decisiveness !!

The warranty block on my LS-6 had CE stamped on it.
