Rick,
Would a "group buy" help with the costs? Is it fixturing the hoses or prepping the stamps that is time consuming? I can handle the removal of the ring if that is the time consuming part. |
Certainly doing them in bulk would reduce the price as the set up and 'getting things in sync' are the most time consuming part. My issue is just finding time in the day to do them. Between writing a book, 9 cars under restoration and now my own car to restore there just is not enough time in the day.

I can certainly understand. Not to deviate too far from the subject, but what is the book on? Restoring Chevelles?

70 Chevelle restoration co authored with Dale McIntosh.

Rick, I know you are busy. Do you have an in with Inline Tube? I like dealing with them. For the most part, they are pretty knowledgable. All we need is the A body hose made longer.

Not directly know. I have never contacted them to have anything special made for me so I have just gone directly thru customer service.
|
Is the printing correct for the A body line?
|
i just talk to inline tube the man said the hoses can done exact like the original with sample but he said he needs minimum of order of a 1000.
|
The stamps that I had made were for a 70 A-body but do not believe they are different for a Camaro as the stamping is for the generic bulk hose and not a made up piece. In other words the hose was stamped prior to the ends being crimped on when produced in 1970.

I have my originals. Now we have to find 995 others to order them with us. No, wait. Everyone needs 2! We only need 490!
