Wonder if there is some reason that he didn't post any pictures of the passenger side? From outward appearances the car doesn't look that bad, really. Is that original paint on it? If so and it was mine, I would be tempted to say what the hell, buy new interior parts, build a healthy 440 for it, and rock it like it is. If you got that thing running and a decent interior in it, and rumbled up to the local cruise (day-two slots and all), the car would get a TON of attention. (Yeah, yeah, I know - an original 440 Six Pack car deserves a concours trailer queen quality restoration...)

Media blasting would not be kind to that car.

That's a hole in the frame rail...with a side marker light bulb hanging down in it.

Just how I remember them back in the late 70's and early 80's, absolutely love it. I know it'll be a money pit but if that car was restored with the original colors and options you'd have a hard time finding a better looking car anywhere in my opinion. With all the rust in the floors and frame rails I'd be afraid to drive it with a stout 440/6 pack and a four speed.

Hope it gets restored, even though it will be a big task.
I'm thankful there are still people who love these cars enough to see them worthy of restoring for the sake of keeping them around, rather than always weighing up restored value versus investment.
