Here ya go.

My Chevelle. I've had this exhaust system on the car for the better part of 30 years, with at least 4 different mufflers that I can remember during that time frame. First set was a pair of what they called hemi mufflers or something along those lines, back when they were more popular. These most recent mufflers are Dynomax 20" case Ultraflows. At idle they sound a lot like the Hemi mufflers I remember, but these Ultraflows get fairly aggressive at WOT. I'm really liking these over all the others I've tried. Very pleasant to cruise.

My fathers GTO. This system is just as old, similar to the setup on the Chevelle with the exception of having what was called at the time a race muffler or shootout muffler. Unfortunately I don't remember the name brand but they've been long out of business for 15+ years now. They are very small at about 12" long and only came in one configuration (center in center out) and while much louder when standing behind it, this car is surprisingly quiet to cruise inside the car.

Since the original post changed target and is now looking for stock exhaust sounds, here's a stock 302 with a Comp Cam and factory style Gardner dual exhaust system with deep tone muffler. (warming up on fast idle here)

Cool, If stock is what you want, here's our Z with it's original born with exhaust system, deep tone muffler and original piping, early build so it doesn't have chrome tips.

Sounds great! I'm enjoying every post here I hope others are as well. I'm unsure about what exhaust system to use and all these posts helps the decision making process. Exhaust is one of those decisions that are made "blindly" all too often. Not to mention with all the car shows cancelled it's nice to experience the sound/video instead of just photographs.
