The ones I saw were all in at least what appeared to me as good condition. Nice green color with no sediments at the bottom of the container. Same for the Pink stuff. Here in NM we don't have a vehicle inspection requirement. So there are A LOT of beaters on the road. Never saw any used motor oil for sale though. I assume they drain that and sell it to the local guy who picks up used oil at places like Jiffy Lube.

Yes a local junk yard i use also sells used antifreeze. Looks clean. I use paint strainer funnels when draining it from there 50 gallon barrels to make sure any sediment, dirt, rust is filtered out when putting in my gallon jug. Cheap too. |
