That’s a nice choice (looking back ) of the one bird to have owned- but funny you chose a model that didn’t sell well and wasn’t really well received at the time.
Was it a RAIII or RAIV ? Options ?

Did you own it back then or much later ?

I don't remember much about it. I bought it in 1981. It was at the Pontiac dealer here in Tucson...on the back lot. It had been stripped. I gave 100.00 for it...Joe

Something to note is how few have a rally wheel. Ratio of steel/ hub cap wheels to Rally is probably about right for the year…

----The early Wide Oval F-stone stripes pictured were farther out in this picture than the originals. They (Firestone) may have already known about the problem and were doing damage patrol. Later the stripe was even closer to the rim!...Bill S
