Re: 1965 L-79 Chevelle / "Original Owner Berger"
Kevin is no stranger to rare cars and isn't afraid of a hunt. His most successful hunt was the the re-purchase of the white '69 Berger COPO Camaro he bought when he was a very young man. Neat car, very nice guy, great story. Would make a great feature car. If you look at his recently filled out profile, you will see a number of cars that would be of interest here. Real car guy - his last house featured a garage that was expanded into an adjacent bedroom. With a lift installed, it slept two ---- two more cars that is.
I met him in the early 90's when he and I were both living in Minnesota. Minnesota members will recognize him as one of the early promoters of the Land O Lakes GTO club musclecar show. His maroon '66 L72 Vette was with him then, and he also had a Burnished Brown COPO Camaro that he sold shortly thereafter to buy his Berger car back. Good thing he's not trying to buy it back in today's market. Welcome to the forum Kevin, I hope you post often and share your experiences.
