Re: OLERED's 64 421 HO...... Grand Prix...
It's really a shame that GM (and others) can't make these big 2-door hardtop models anymore. What a classic design these early '60s Pontiacs were.
Anyone remember the Matchbox '64 GP? One of my favorites. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...iggthumpup.gif x 100 |

That is a beautiful car. It just screams "class".

Nice car https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...iggthumpup.gif That brought back memories. The last time I saw a 64 in that color was when I worked at Davis Pontiac in High School, one of the mechanics owned one and would bring it in to work to get it ready for the local show season.
64's are one of my favorite years for that car https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...iggthumpup.gif |

Re: OLERED's 64 421 HO...... Grand Prix...
Very cool car. I remember working on one of these in the early 70's. What a blast to drive. Vaguely remember something very odd about those 8 lug wheels. Wasn't the brake drum integrated into the inner part of the wheel? I remember thinking those had to be expensive to replace. I suppose, like almost all else, they are available reproduction?
