I hope it doesn't too. This is the engine that was in the car when I bought it. I have never been happy with it's performance and planned to rebuilt or replace it this winter. Looks like I'll get an early start on it.

there is a supposed LS6 longblock on the cheap on ebay may be worth a look James.

My sediments exactly.Bought this car used and one never knows what they are truly getting.Motor ran great until this so now it's time to build a killer roller-cam 302...if the motor is salvageable that is.

If not,here comes that monster crate motor (that aluminum head Bill Mitchell 427 small block is starting to look real good! https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...ns/naughty.gif)to rip up the pavement until I figure which side is up on this whole 302 thing.

Thanks Bud, There are a couple engines on Ebay that I'm watching. One of them is a LS-6. I'm not sure if it's the one you mentioned.
