Re: tamson chevrolet in va.
My Geography skills aren't the greatest, but I'll guess Lustine Chevrolet in Hyattsville MD.

Re: tamson chevrolet in va.
Mine aren't either, but the dealer list I have been assembling over the years puts Bill Geringer Chev. in Apex, NC as pretty close too? Otherwise, it's Lustine https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...iggthumpup.gif

Re: tamson chevrolet in va.
Boy i wish i was there Marlin to hear that info but i was always late for school https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...lins/frown.gif.The orig owner of my 68 ss car
said the day he went to pick it up the salesman took him for a ride in a 68 ss 427 prepped car to try and pursuade him to up-grade to the $600 427 pkg but he said that thing was a animal and barley streetable, said that he test drove a 68 l79 car but even then rumors of the 327,s demise were told to him by the salesman so he opted for the new 350/295 hp with the 4spd and the 12 bolt 355 rear https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...mlins/grin.gif p.s iam asking for pics he took a pic of his new car at the dealer and said he belives the 427 car was in the background . https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...ns/naughty.gif |
Re: tamson chevrolet in va.
Nice!
Tamson sold a lot of cool stuff, including one of the '69 ZL1's I believe. I been to Danville, VA - it's a neat little town, any muscle car would be well known in the area. |
Re: tamson chevrolet in va.
I wonder if anyone has any info on what a Tamson conversion included? Just listening to that post " But that animal was barley streetable" That sounds like an L-88 swap not just a L-72.
Did any of these cars survive? Does anyone know of one?? Enquirering(sp?) minds want to know! |
