The local Chevelle club (Springfield, MO) was having their annual get together this weekend, which included some track time, so Rob and I snuck away from work with Red Alert. I hope somebody refreshed the motor or at least put valve springs in it if you're going to thrash on it. Ever since we had it in our showroom in the late 90's, Bill has told each new owner to service the engine and put new valve springs in it. In fact, I think he had the springs. But it seems like it just kept getting passed around and rolling at auctions, and I don't think anybody did anything to the engine.
