Well for my birthday, the kid took me to pick up my new art morrison frame for the Chevelle we’ll strip a few pieces off and send it out for powder coating next week. Hopefully have a rolling chassis by the end of the month maybe even with motor and trans.. I can dream, can’t I?

The shipping crate is designed to stack upright with the frame on its side - we use the skid steer to lower it down, cut off the top of the crate and screw a bunch of dollies to the bottom so we could move it around at the shop

I think this is the ultimate day2 look and it's exactly how I did it back in the day. Either blackened steelies or chrome reverse out back and cragars or torque thrusts up front. I did this on a few cars and get a mixed review from strangers.....some ask why, or "can't you afford new wheels" or they just simply stare in appreciations.

Black steelies are the current idea, large C6 brakes will negate 15s.

Car won’t be as low as example in photo

Picked up the chassis from powder coating. We’ll start assembling rear gear and suspension.

Need Bruce to help me figure why these photos show up sideways 🙁

browsing old threads, the kid surprised me with a set 15" TTs a couple years back which led me to discover that every piece of my suspension was still original and needed upgrades. after much consideration we decided to pull the trigger on a major rebuild starting with floor and trunk sections that were almost non existing where the body bushings sit.

The TTs aren’t going to fit Chevelle with the brake upgrade, they look great on Unclemino.

Chassis pretty much ready to receive body. They will meet each other next week and hopefully be joined together soon. A little sneak peek on the original color mist blue.

Xplant Bruce, why do these pictures show up sideways sometimes when they’re upright in my phone?
