Yep, the punch list is short Ryan. Just a front end alignment, and I should be ready for the 1st test drive.

It should move under it's own power, but I still have it up on blocks. We're looking at a week long rain event, so it may have to sit for a while.

This may be the reason my Nova isn't charging enough to run the lights very long after dark. I'm fine all day long but night driving is killing the battery. I had both of those grounds fastened to the core support. I'm assuming one fastens to the voltage regulator and the other to the horn relay? I had the Alternator tested and have a new Voltage regulator and new horn relay...

I wound up replacing the regulator. I put one of the ground wires on the reg, and it worked briefly. Then quit completely and it was a Delco regulator. I replaced it with a Standard brand, and grounded it like the Delco. So far the Standard one is good.

The Delco reg was all over the place. Sometimes it was charging 16 volts and then a min later it was doing nothing. Then back to 15....etc

...and yes, the other ground I put on the horn relay screw.

Grounds will drive a person nuts -- have you ever owned a Vette? I've had a number of 2nd and 3rd gen and the electrical systems can be a challenge at times.

Ok, this is it. Had it out for the front end alignment today. It actually moves under it own power. Hasn't done that for a while. This build has been a lot of fun. I will be putting another set of wheels together for it. I'll be going with white steelies and cheater slicks on the rear, and a somewhat skinny wheel/tire combo up front. Not sure which wheels yet, up front. Probably a 15&quot; X 6&quot; of some sort, with black wall bias ply's....

I appreciate all the great advise, comments, emails, pm's and phone calls, over the past 6 months. I'm new to Nova's so I had a lot to learn, but it was one of the more pleasurable builds I've done. Now I have a new garage/storage building to build. I'll be thrilled if that goes as well as the Nova project went.
