As everyone gets home I hope they can contribute photos as well as videos the photographer shot a lot of track action ....Sammy.... The green machine runs a M 22 Muncie ...and a 12 bolt with Mosher axles and spool... The wheelies were abundant at the track by all .... The track did an awesome job preparing it for us for the morning and afternoon sessions. I made 13 passes in 6 hours

Wow. What a weekend.

First of all, a big thank you to Doug, Jamie, Rob and others who lent a hand in making SCR18 such a success. IMO, could not have gone better. And thanks to everyone who brought a car(s).

On Friday we made the trek to Beech Bend Raceway, where Dallas and his crew had the track prepped very well. Everyone there was very friendly and the weather was great. As usual seeing a bunch of really rare and cool cars racing is always a blast for me. Racing at a historic track such as Beech Bend only added to the excitement.

Friday evening move-in went well at the Corvette Musuem, and the banquet was fun, great food, and always neat to hear from Schonye and Ed Hedrick. Cool to actually have the banquet in the same room with the supercars.

Saturday was really neat to see the supercars on display inside the Corvette Museum with a few other neat cars right in front. A really nice venue to host the show portion of the event.

This was a Great event! Thursday evening visiting at the hotel and dinner. Friday at Beech Bend where the track was the perfect blend of a NHRA national event level track in a very relaxed friendly rural setting. We probably had 15 or more cars making passes. Almost all ran hard. It was a lot of fun. I ran my FG Deuce to a 12.76 at 110. The fun continued into the evening at the banquet. About 50 of us enjoyed wonderful food at the Corvette Museum in the same room where the cars were on display. Both speakers were humble gracious and incredibly interesting. It was an honor to get to know Ed Hedrick and Shonye is so deserving of being honered at this event. The show Saturday went very well with a lot more spectators through the doors to see the cars than we have had in past years. All in all a great turn out with great energy. Great cars and best of all Great people.
Thank you to everyone who made the sacrifices neccessary to be there. I can't wait to see how awesome next years Reunion will be.
Jamie

My first reunion in 6 years, but it felt great to be back. I still don't have a clue as to what's wrong with my car, but boy did I have fun breaking it. No traction at the line, but over 105 mph at the finish line.
