Mike, The fronts are 6.70/15 inch Firestone Tires. You can get them through Coker. The rears, I am almost certain, are the reproduction M&H cheater slicks.

Thank you very much, that is the look I am after. I just wasn't sure if they were 6.40 or 6.70s on the front. I appreciate your help.

Beautiful Nova.

IIRC Grady may have 14” M&H repros out back.
|
The fronts are actually original Stahl 710x15 not Firestone repops! Last I checked you can not buy them from Coker! The slicks are as Sam said M&H 14's and are reproduction.

See Grady, I was paying attention (for once). Grady is very knowledgeable on this tire and wheel stuff. Have learned a lot from this fine gentelman!!
P.S. never considered doing spacers for my 4.5” Cragar skinnies for my Chevelle and Grady said to do it and boy was he right!!!!! |

I stand corrected Mike. I have those Firestone fronts and M&H rears as a set up for my Nova and the front tires look very similar in height and pie crust sidewalls to the Stahls.. FWIW... Rich |

Gorgeous job. I love Day 2 stuff and you nailed it. I am a 2nd gen Camaro guy and never knew that 1st gens had gray primer on the underside that wasn't always covered by the b!ackout. I learn something new every day. I seem to remember that some cars( don't remember what year) would get gray primer from the belt line down to serve as material for the paint shop to sand out any blemishes. Is that true?
BTW,as much as I love your car,if it were mine it would have Ansen Sprints on it. :) |
Browncopo. Awesome to hear and see the history of this car. I have been into 2nd gen Camaros all my life so I would be just as happy with an equally well restored 74 Z with day two mods, especially if it were a factory no spoiler car!!!
