Mud dauber is a common name for wasps that make their brood nests with mud. There are many species of wasps referred to as mud daubers; some other common names are dirt daubers, organ-pipe wasps, mud wasps and potter wasps.

Potter wasps live in Fishkill NY....and sport Yenko tatoos...the only species that can talk. Lol. As a kid on rare occasions these critters would nest in the ground. As you walked over their best and disturbed it ..you paid the price

hey guys, I missed your event last year and only live 25 miles from the corvette plant. I hope its ok to show up in 69 Z/28 (Daytona Yellow with Yellow houndstooth)to meet you and lust over your supercars. I have a friend who has a lemans blue COPO that none of you have seen and it should be done by then, He is the second owner and its a very late car. Another buddy has a 67 GT 500 Shelby,4k Camaro and recently bought a 67 l79 nova here on this site. I know Z,s are not very super but ill drive it down anyway.

Please come down and join us the weekend of July 29th.....tell your buddies to bring their cars as well ....We have a meet and greet on Thursday night at the host hotel with a free BBQ ....We race all day Friday ...banquet Friday night and car show on Saturday...some of us are partial to Copos [img]<<GRAEMLIN_URL>>/Can-I-Have-It.gif[/img] and drag racing !!! We have fun without egos [img]<<GRAEMLIN_URL>>/3gears.gif[/img]

Hi Ken, The meet and greet with free BBQ is Thursday July 28th from 6 pm - 9 pm and racing / banquet on Friday July 29th and indoor / outdoor car show on Saturday July 30th at the Corvette Museum. The host hotel is the 7 story Holiday Inn University Plaza ...same as last year ...they have agreed to honor the same pricing as last year for our block of rooms ..$109 per night plus tax. The rooms are very nice. The cutoff for the discount is Monday June 27th 5 pm CST . The code is SCR19 Hope that helps

Hi all,

We have put the finishing touches on the menu for the meet n greet Thursday night.

Dinner will be available from 6-9 PM

We will have:

Brisket - slices and burnt ends
Chicken Thighs
Bacon and caramelized onion Mac N Cheese
Cranberry/BBQ Baked Beans
Smokey blueberry bread pudding ( this will go fast)

The meat will be prepared the same way we prepare for our competitions. Should be awesome!
