Hi Bill - Thanks for looking. Both pictures are of the same car. One picture has the removable
Hard top. The other picture shows the convertible soft top. Confusion could occur because one
picture shows sport type side view mirrors, installed by a previous owner, the other photo shows
Period correct mirrors . I replaced the sport mirrors with the correct mirrors. Thank You, everyone
On this site is so friendly - I Love It . Take care , John

Hi Tim - it's possible that you recognize the car. A previous owner Bryan? With whom I have
Spoken with several times had originally lived in Butler, PA ( which I think is near Pittsburgh then moved, with the car, to Valley Mills, Texas. Brian owned the car for about 14 years. Bryan then
Moved back to PA. - while in Pittsburg area he sold the car. and moved back to Texas. I know Bryan's last name but do not think it would be right to state it. After I bought the car in 99 @
Carlisle, PA. I requested a search from PA D.M.V. ( before privacy laws) which I paid for which
gave me Briyan's name. On the Internet I found Bryan, we spoke several times, and Bryan is
the source of most of the history of this car. Some of it has proved to be wrong, not intentionally
But from fading memories. Bryan also did not know that the car originated at Yenko - an honest
mistake. Bryan also did a fabulous job repainting this car. I would enjoy talking to Bryan again.
Thanks John

Looks great John and thanks for sharing the paperwork also big congrats having your original tank sheet!
Even though Yenko had three dealer codes (898/899/900), it's interesting the code noted on the tank sheet is different than dealer # recorded/info accessed/reported by the NCRS?
Otherwise, great you're here John and welcome to the madness!

Re: 69 corvette history

I had not noticed that the Shipping Data Report lists Dealer 898 ( Yenko ) and that the Confirmation of Documents verifies the Tank Sheet noting dealer 900 ( Yenko ). I wonder if I should ask NCRS
to change the data report to 900 to match the tank sheet , since it is the same dealer. It does seem
odd. What do you think ? John

I don't expect it really matters much as again, all three #'s are known Yenko codes anyway.
Also, NCRS isn't necessarily wrong either and the # they reported most likely exactly what's listed on the info they glean the codes from...dealer shipped to lists?
If ordered from/invoiced to the # as Order Copy shows but shipped to the other # for whatever reason, nothing is wrong w/ that or makes much difference now, especially when both #'s are Yenko codes?

Thanks Tim ! When I saw your post I noticed that you were from Texas and assumed that you had
remembered seeing the car when it's previous owner lived there. This morning I realized who you are . I would like to call you later today. Take Care. John
