Looks like it has 68 Impala bucket seats. Wonder if there is a build sheet in one of the seat backs?

I watch a facebook group called wrecked muscle cars and classics. Tonight they had a video of a grand national at a junk yard and they picked it up off a trailer with a claw and threw it on the ground. Then crushed the top in. Really sad to watch. Still had the GN wheels on it

I wonder why the guys at the yards aren't keeping them to sell or part out? Must be a time(or tunnel vision) issue. You know they know what the cars are worth.

I was scouring a Palm Beach FL scrap yard some years back and came across a 70 Nugget Gold W30. Very rusty but savable. Engine,Trans,Fender liners,VIN and Trim tag missing.
Nice White Int. A/C original paint car. I saved the VIN number from the door jam decal in case the car shows up someday. Once a car goes into a scrap yard in FL its a one way trip by law. |
On the GN, someone thought it was a car that GM had donated to a school, like it wasnt saleable and afterwards it had to be crushed. I live real close to Honda and there was a small junk yard near me that would get some of their cars and they would be new and stacked together with the tops crushed in. They had some other makes from the plant to. I have a feeling they were test cars. I think the junk yard owner got caught selling parts and they quit letting him get cars. Looked like perfectly good lights, tires, wheels but I suppose they dont want a lawsuit
