The story on the Z is there are "three" owners. Its been parked there for over 20 years. The trans is owned by one guy, the interior another and one guy died. The yard owner is checking to see if he can sell the whole car. Its complete as can be, the steering wheel is laying on the passenger seat.
The color struck me as odd then I saw the Z28 decal stripes on it. Ive never seen a Z or Camaro that color before. Its rusty. But theres something about that color that I like. My friend is gonna buy it if possible. |

I think the '74-only Z28 hood and deck striping are some of the coolest graphics of the muscle period (albeit late in the game). If I ever get another mid-second gen I'm totally going to put those big Z28 stripes on it, even if it's not a '74 as they just look that cool.

Car looks to be very original. I bet it even has the very hard to find TCS switch screwed into the rear of the passenger side head.
Thats the hardest part to find for 74 z's with manual trans. I broke the spade off my original and cant find one. These 74 Z's still had some decent drivetrains in them. Quote:
Heres mine 74 LT Z/28 I found buried under a bunch of stuff in a garage down in Minneapolis. All Original 33,000 mile car that was still on its original tires. It didnt come with the stripe package, but I am tempted. |
