Dave, the engine pad looks good to me. Congrats and welcome to the 1963 Corvette Fuelie club. My car is a factory no radio thus no ignition shielding. Glad to be able to recognize a new member. Enjoy your new car.

Thanks guys!

Mike, beautiful car and thanks for the welcome! I found a few more correct clues and that’s the larger 6qt oil system pan, Finned Harmonic damper, and correct exhaust manifolds with the no mounting bosses on the left side along with the choke stove pipe hole, and no choke stove pipe on the passenger side! More clues!

Once it gets here I’ll check out the rear axle for the gear ratio. :3gears:

I’m starting to work on finding the correct fuel injection parts. I also plan on finding a good set of steel wheels and some nice original wheel covers fir it too. I like the knock-offs, but they are the bolt on style. Good for safety, but I like the caps better! Fun stuff!!!

Cheers:beers:

...and with that, I just sealed a deal on a 100% complete FI unit off a running car that was removed a few months ago. This had been restored by Jerry Bramlett and still runs flawlessly. It’s complete with everything!

Additionally, I found a set of five correct steel wheels along with fully restored (polished) later style hub caps. The last thing I know I need is the correct master cylinder and I found that too.

I also have the potential to buy the original hardtop to the car and will know later today if the gentleman wants to sell it.

WOOHOO!!! Now I just need the correct Silver Blue paint!:cool2: New thread....comin’ in HOT!!!!!:hmmm:

Cheers:beers:

Way to go Dave!
How does the fuel injection unit compare to a tunnel ram?
