$200 for a collect phone call in 1971?! WOW!

50 years later that's like almost $1300 with inflation of 545.88% from then until now.

I think $200 would've bought a running, driving and licensed car back then, no?

Check out all of the original documents signed by “Mr Chevrolet” himself just prior to his tragic death. There are not many Super Cars with this level of documentation.
